Everything you need to know about renting with Concorp in Wolfville.
When should we start looking for a place for September?
Most Wolfville student leases start on 1 May or 1 September and groups start looking in the fall and winter before. Apply early – one person can apply for the whole group.
Do you rent to groups?
Yes. Many of our houses and apartments suit groups of 2 to 7. Tell us your group size on the inquiry form and we'll match you with units that fit.
Is rent per person or for the whole unit?
Rent is per person (per bedroom) per month. Most rooms are currently $750 to $850 per person/month, depending on location and which utilities are included. For a whole unit, multiply the per-person rent by the number of bedrooms – for example, a 5-bedroom at $850 per person is $4,250/month in total. Each listing shows which utilities (power, heat, water) are included.
How do I book a viewing?
Tap “Apply as a group” on any listing – one person can apply. Tick that your group fills every room, and we'll text you a day and time for the viewing.
What does the application involve?
After a viewing, each person in your group completes a short application. We use the same written criteria for every applicant (for example ability to pay and references). We never ask for your SIN.
How much is the security deposit?
Under the Nova Scotia Residential Tenancies Act, the security deposit can be no more than half of one month's rent. It is held in trust and handled according to the Act.
Who looks after snow removal and lawn care?
We do. Snow removal, lawn care and garbage removal are handled by Concorp at our properties.
How do I report a maintenance issue?
Current residents can use the maintenance page. For emergencies such as a leak, no heat or a flood, contact us right away – we offer 24-hour maintenance and repair.
